Forward a rent email. Get a clean ledger line.
This is the BorderBird wedge in one screen. Paste a forwarded Interac e-Transfer (or use the sample below) and watch it turn into a parsed payment — payer, amount, currency — and the clean ledger line it becomes. It's the same parser the product uses, running right here in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.
How it works in the app
- 1.Forward once. Set a single filter so your rent-payment emails forward to your private BorderBird address — no inbox access, ever.
- 2.It reconciles. Each payment is parsed and matched to the right lease, dated correctly, and queued for your one-click approval.
- 3.Your numbers update. Clean books, CRA Part XIII / NR4 withholding, and Schedule E totals — kept current automatically.
Try it with your real rent emails
Free tier, one property, no time limit, no credit card. Forward your first rent email and watch your ledger build itself.

Does BorderBird read my inbox?
No. BorderBird never connects to your email account. You forward only the rent-payment emails you choose to a private address, and it parses those — nothing else. This demo goes further and runs entirely in your browser; the text you paste is never sent anywhere.
What kinds of payment emails does it read?
Interac e-Transfer notifications (notify@payments.interac.ca), forwarded transfer receipts, and similar payment emails. It extracts the payer, the amount, and the currency, and matches the payment to the right lease in your account.
Is this the same parser the product uses?
Yes — this demo uses the same amount/payer/currency extraction logic as the live forwarding pipeline, so what you see here is what the product actually does. In the app, the parsed payment is matched to a lease and queued for your one-click approval before it posts.
What happens after a payment is parsed?
In the app, BorderBird matches it to the correct lease, posts it to your double-entry ledger for approval, and updates your figures — including CRA Part XIII / NR4 withholding for non-resident owners and Schedule E totals for US filings.
